Again, for those of you who are slow...
quote:
“There is no rule against Airmen bringing personal items to be signed by the president,” USAFE said in a statement.

this falls under the same rules as "don't give gifts over $20 to federal workers". I can almost guarantee you that he was reprimanded for this whether y'all want to admit it or not. should he be punished any further than a slap on the wrist? No way. But, he'll have to take a training (or retraining) on the subject for sure.
Long way of saying you have no idea what if any law applies since you cannot quote it so STFU...

there is no law
there are rules (standards) that everyone who works for our government are supposed to go by.

can you cite the guideline being violated?
I only ask because the official statement from USAFE says there is no rule against airman having the President sign their personal items....
I'm sure they got it wrong, can you straighten it out for us?

Then quote the rule, law, or standard that you believe applies OR STFU...
You already have a statement in this thread from the Air Force saying there was no violation of any existing rule or law concerning signing the hats... Yet here your dumbass continues to cling to your talking point, like saying it over and over again makes it true...

I can only go by what I know concerning the internal bylaws for civil servants. It would not be ok for any civil servant to wear (or show) a MAGA hat while at work. I guess I assumed that since this airman was wearing his uniform, he couldn't do that either.
these are known rules that are enforced when needed. I guess enlisted folks have different rules.

it sort of is, but like I said, kids will be kids. this falls under “partisan political activities”. Civil servants can't do it either.

I hear you man, but vague generalizations are marginal.
What truth did I give that makes you so mad you can't think straight?
I would expect a child to get his logo'd hat signed by a president, but that's my opinion.
It is not my opinion that politics, in General, have no place in the work place. Any educated person can understand that.
Posted on 12/28/18 at 5:54 pm to jptiger2009
No where near mad, you just cannot admit you do not know what you are talking about, even when it comes to civil service employees... this was not political... any sane and educated person would understand that...
Absolute idiot...
