my objective here was nothing more and nothing less than sharing a relevant and interesting historical bit on a Bolshevik trick that made people think a secret military operation was working underground on behalf of the people but was nothing more than propagated hope.

Yeah...but initially you said Q was designed to, and I'm paraphrasing, lull the public to sleep...
I think Boared, Supa and I pointed out that's just complete bullshite.
If you would've opened with your quoted statement, instead of making incredible leaps, contrary to factual occurrences...heck I might've upvoted.
But up to this point the only comparisons are they are both psyops, both have a general in them and both spread relatively quickly.
Other than that, you could've compared Q to the Gulf of Tonkin...
We've got generals, misleading the public, the USA, dead Presidents, a bunch more parallels...

a part of your problem is a common intellectual issue.
I did not say Q was designed to lull the public to sleep - exclusively. this is an indication of an intellectual problem that most suffer from, you can't see/think in a full circle. everything is for/against and linear.
I said it was designed to do two things, which it effectively did.
-bundle up Trump supporters in a way that creates a cultish following of people hoping for a secret military operation to unfold while they passionately wave signs and post online about how Q and his army of justice warriors will save the planet. This effectively takes away personal agency and puts action in the hands of someone else while right wing politics gets branded as Nazi-level white supremacy.
and
-further degrade and destroy the general publics perception of anything related to 'conspiracy' - effectively killing the genre by creating avenues to censor
you're too old for me to waste any more time on.
