US does not comply with warnings on the high seas. I would assume it did not cross into Iranian waters and stayed in UAE and Oman waters.
When a US ship sets a course. It in most cases expects everyone to get out of the way.

US intelligence indicates China is preparing to deliver air defense systems to Iran in the coming weeks, CNN reported on Saturday
Is it OK to trust CNN reporting now?
I would not trust any media source and most of the links that are posted in this thread.

Isn’t it sad that it’s so difficult to find a source that is reliable, balanced, and based on verified information?

Masoumeh Ebtekar - also known as "Screaming Mary" - was the spokeswoman for the Islamic terrorists who stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979 and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days - subjecting them to beatings, starvation, and mock executions.
In 2014, the Obama Administration granted visas to her son and his family to enter the United States. In June 2016, the Obama Administration gave them lawful permanent resident status via the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program.
This week, I terminated their lawful permanent resident status and today, Seyed Eissa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasebi, and their son are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement pending their removal from our country.
Her family should never have been allowed to benefit from the extraordinary privilege of living in our country.
America can never become home for anti-American terrorists or their families - and under the Trump Administration, it never will.

BREAKING: Iran has formally submitted its four "red lines" for peace talks with the US today, per Iranian state TV:
1. Authority over the Strait of Hormuz
2. Payment of war reparations
3. Unfreezing of all blocked Iranian financial assets
4. Securing a comprehensive regional ceasefire
In-person negotiations are ongoing as we speak.

The Islamic republic of Iran seems to think that they are in a position of demanding that other sovereign nations abide by what they demand.
They are not. Respect the sovereignty of the UAE, of Lebanon, of Israel, and of all the other nations who have been bombed by the Islamic regime in the past 40 days, and all the nations impacted by the blackmailing of the Strait of Hormuz.
The terrorist dictatorship of the Islamic regime cannot be permitted to violate the sovereignty of whatever nations they see fit, nor can it be permitted to hold the global economy hostage over oil.
quote:
As long as the UAE is not in Islamabad, JD Vance and the Islamic regime in Iran will fail in Pakistan. The UAE does not, and will not, accept the Islamic regime in Iran controlling access to the Strait of Hormuz, nor possessing nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, drones, or any capabilities that threaten regional security. This regime must issue a formal apology to the UAE for its aggression, acknowledge its actions, provide full compensation for any harm caused to individuals and institutions, and guarantee non-repetition. Otherwise, what comes next will be devastating for this terrorist regime.

Was listening to the US Naval war college video on the Hormuz strait and one of the former vice admirals said something really interesting that I didn't know.
That the strait is actually very difficult to mine because it's very deep and the channel current is very strong making the practicality of mines very difficult to do.
And that because of the strength of the currents they couldn't mine it and then be confident in their own tankers being able to sail safely through the strait as well.
That in the Iran/Iraq war of the 80's they never mined the strait itself because its simply too difficult to do because of this.

UPDATE: Iran brought Araghchi and the central bank governor which tells you they came prepared to talk about money.
Both sides met Pakistan's PM Sharif separately before facing each other. Things went south pretty quick, Iran put new demands on the table, Vance rejected them flat out. No deal as of now.
But honestly the vibe was off from the start. Ghalibaf walked off the plane and told cameras "every time we've negotiated with Americans it ended in failure, they bombed us twice mid-talks this year." You don't open like that if you're feeling optimistic.

On the Hormuz crossing, since some are questioning it:
- Axios (Barak Ravid) — US official confirms several
Navy ships transited east to west and back out.
- WSJ — confirmed independently via 3 US officials.
- Bloomberg — ran it separately.
First US Navy transit since the war began. Not coordinated with Iran. Described as a freedom of navigation operation.
Iran's version: a destroyer was warned through Pakistani mediators and turned back in 30 min. State media denies any successful crossing.

Iraqi ?parliament ?elected ?Kurdish politician ?Nizar ?Amedi ?of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) as the ?country's ?new president, after months of political deadlock.
According to the Iraqi constitution, Amedi now has 15 days to task a Shi’ite prime ministerial nominee with the formation of the government.
The leader of Iraq’s largest Shiite political bloc and Iranian-aligned politician, Nouri al-Maliki, was positioned as the most likely candidate for the premiership, but U.S. President Trump threatened to cut off support for Iraq should he be elected to the office.
The ruling Shiite Coordination Framework has yet to formally withdraw Maliki’s candidacy or announce a new nominee, but the threats from Washington have severely crippled any attempts to move forward with the government formation process.
