I think this election is a last ditch effort for France to reclaim its country. I hate being dramatical about the consequences of electing someone that's going to turn a blind eye to Muslim extremism but here we are. France needs to purge itself of the disease.

Yeah, because France being Germany's economic and diplomatic bitch is so much better.
This is more than about Islam. It's about geopolitical and economic balance. Any chance to clip Germany's wings should be taken advantage of, IMO.
