That’s not true.Brits are transferring sovereignty of the Chagos Islands (approx.60 islands) to Mauritius,
Diego Garcia is the largest island of the Chagos Archipelago.
The deal is Diego Garcia will remain a base for 99 years+ 40 year extension.
It’s not great they’re doing that,though.Hopefully,Mauritius won’t ever allow China access to one of the other Chagos Islands.
