Actually, his political leanings matter very little and I am a staunch conservative. He has been called to be Bishop of Rome. In the Direct lineage from Saint Peter, who was appointed by Christ himself.the only thing that matters is how he directs his flock… The Catholic Church. That is what he was called to do by Christ.
