And GM is holding out on getting started on ventilators because they are negotiating price with president and asking for more money. How is that not price gouging!

How do you go from making cars to making tiny ventilators in a week?

I can't imagine any of the tooling is the same. Where are they suppose to get the parts to assemble?

I am sure they could do it in a month or two but the idea that they have to stop making pickup trucks and start making ventilators this week or next is crazy. I doubt they have any idea what it will cost them to do it.

GM sold their soul to satan years ago.

Suck it up, buttercup, and do what daddy Govt tells you to do.

I saw the Lindell interview. It is easy for him to convert to sewing mask. His plants are sewing plants and it showed the lasers in his plants that can be relatively easily programed to but the mask material to size.

Here is a pic of the ventilator NY is stockpiling. Why would GM even be the vendor you want to make these?

"The difficult we do immediately. The impossible takes a little longer." This familiar slogan, used during World War II as a motto by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
