Doesn't matter who wins. They are all the same and will continue to frick us over. With that said, I did my part.

This. Anyone who thinks otherwise (here's looking at you OP) is a fool and should be disregarded as merely a team cheerleader in the current system.

I know Bill Cassidy well and personally. I like and respect him.

I support his candidacy and expect he at least represents grid-lock as a REP control v a DEM POTUS.

I would not support ANYONE beyond 2 terms.

Mary has been there too long. If Bill is elected (and re-elected) I will say "Bill has been there too long" after.

I'm sure he's a very nice man and a fine doctor

I don't agree as my opinion (and you can already see the trial balloons) is that Repubs will be pressured to "do something" with their majority and will put together an immigration reform bill detrimental to the country. They'll make concessions in the name of compromise because they think that's what voters want. In the end, we'll get basically the same thing from Cassidy we have gotten from Landrieu (save maybe ACA).

I totally agree with the above statements. This should apply to ALL elected officials at every level.

They're sure as he'll not going to be supporting the same federal judge nominees.

I'd say about 99% of the time you can vote "no" on amendments.

Do any of these proposed amendments affect your basic human rights as defined by the LA Constitution? Nope.

Well, in all fairness that is a pretty fricking big deal. I don't think Piggy would support any chenges to the ACA either.

The most upsetting thing about this thread is that this guy's vote counts just as much as mine.
