After this he was elected to the Bayern parliament as a member of the communist party to the People's State of Bavaria. This is in January 1919 and Kurt Eisner is the leader of the state.

When Kurt Eisner is killed Adolf is photographed at his funeral, he is wearing the black arm band and the red arm band for communist, the photograph is taken by Hoffman. Now why it is not oversimplification, since the beginning of the 1860's outgrowth of the ideas of Engels and Marx splits in believes, and goals came due to personality conflict.
