If he had bought it from the store, what are the odds that would have happened?
During Prohibition there were plenty of stories of alcohol buys gone bad too.

A voluntary transaction doesn't lead to murder. Robberies lead to murder. Did you read your own link? Sure didn't look like a sale to me

Pretty low, but since you bring up alcohol and violence: Alcohol Sales and Violence in Philadelphia

Studies in other cities have shown that neighborhoods that have more stores selling alcohol have higher rates of violence, alcohol-related traffic crashes, and other public health and social problems

Yes or no, that drug deal had no victims? You're aware being robbed is being a victim, yes?

Still not true.

ORLY?
Try to keep up.
Driving can lead to road rage so driving is not a victimless crime?
It is the illegality that results in the inherent danger of the business. Which is why drug dealers are heroes.

What does that link have to do with the transaction? You're confused by associated crimei
Posted on 3/23/17 at 3:45 pm to NYNolaguy1
Prison is big business in Alabama. Non-violent offenders should never be locked up for life.

Yeah, he's confusing other actions with a voluntary trade

I'm not confused by anything. You're just dancing around an example of a drug deal going bad blowing up your argument.

All true.
But we tolerate this risk because:
1)People enjoy drinking
2)Prohibition doesn't work
3)We like to think we love freedom
Wouldn't legalization of some/most drugs support 1,2, or 3?
It would also in fact lower crime from the current status quo of homicides during drug deals (as you pointed out).
Posted on 3/23/17 at 3:47 pm to Blue Velvet
You think legalization would solve that?
