Kneeling during the national anthem

I see all these athletes calling out drew brees for what he said today, Ed Reed, tyrann Mathieu, LeBron James, the list goes on.

They are explaining to brees that he doesn't understand the message of kneeling before the flag, that it's not anti American. That it's not anti military or anything like that.

Doesn't the act of kneeling before the flag confuse the message though? It's almost like it intentionally invites people to not understand so they can be fought as easy targets.

The flag does not represent the police, so why kneel before it? The correct answer is because the national anthem was the easiest time to convey the message. It was lazy. It was to get the most face time.

So pardon us for not understanding your lazy arse delivery of something that should be a good message. There are a ton of athletes out there, including many black ones, that do not agree with kneeling before the flag and I hope they help brees on this one.
