If you actually read up on this, it is ONLY for people with terminal illness with 6 months or less to live. This isn't some replacement for counseling like that picture makes it appear to be. I have no problem with people who want to end their life on their own terms when they have a terminal illness.

Update - AI Search lied to me. the law was further amended by Bill C-7 to include those suffering from a grievous and irremediable condition whose death is not reasonably foreseeable. And they have attempted to add mental illness but it looks like that is facing legal challenges.
