Kansas Cancels In-Person K-12 Schools

I would say a fair amount of schools issue chrome books or the like to students. It will be interesting to see how they reach the families that may not have internet service or the kids with IEPs. All of our libraries are closed in the Wichita area and most of the dining rooms that offer free WiFi are closed now. Our district has stated that kids will pass on to the next grade unless there has been an underlying issue that has already communicated with the parent. No spring sports, proms, or commencement ceremonies. What a shitty hand to be dealt at the end of your high school time.
