JBE had 10k more primary votes in JP than Abraham and Rispone had combined

10,000 more votes in the primary. Let that sink in. Jefferson, which used to be a reliable Republican stronghold in state elections to offset Orleans numbers, carried the election for JBE. It's not because of disgruntled Abraham voters.

Rispone barely visited the New Orleans area and when he did it was in the outskirts of Kenner.

It's looking like about 135,000 people who voted for Ardoin voted for JBE. Seems pretty clear that registered Republicans pushed JBE through.

The state is still majority Democrat by registration. Ardoin did well because he ran against a nobody with no money.
