The economy is doing fine.
The stock market operates inversely to the strength of the economy from the perspective of workers sometimes. This is one of those times.

Here's one for you. The narrative is that Trump has somehow shifted the economy's gears to where we're supposedly at 3% potential GDP or better, yet somehow the economy can't handle the Fed slightly raising rates when they're at about 0% in real terms (remember: slow but gradually-rising inflation)
