It sounds like YOU are trhe anti-semite. Carlson speaks out against usuary and YOU automatically assume he's talking about the Joos
Could not agree more. Watched the segment in question. He was talking about predatory lending to include interest rates if 21+% and payday loans. There was not even a hint of antisemitism. The OP is looking for an issue that does not exist. He is either trolling or is him/herself an antisemite.

Just asking questions. I've never understood it.
It's like the Irish being hated in the early days and all the racial slurs from that time for Italians. Out of place in today's times and nonsensical.

wish pop. was higher in south in older days. For example, Lehman Brothers got their start in Alabama. Younger folks moved to NYC, San Fran, etc.---bigger urban centers for various reasons. Jews never had any problems in American South though.
This is true .... and still is to a great degree. They ran Charleston for decades if not almost a century. Of course, some of them did so by way of carpet bagging.

quote:A lot if this is overblown. "Irish need not apply" is a complete myth. But they were Catholic in a country that was heavily Protestant, poor and uneducated, drank more in a country that was moving toward teetotalism and Prohibition, more involved in organized crime.. of course for all these differences there were never any pogroms or systematic oppression

Khazarian Jews / Zionists are the main problem that we are all dealing with.
Being anti Zionist is not being an anti semite.

It was long before the carpetbaggers, scroo. Charleston was the most Jewish city in America on 7-4-1776

You are badly misinformed.
"Irish need not apply" (and much worse) was a VERY real thing in the mid to late 1800's.
quote:There were Irish "Shanty Towns" in every city. And YOU are still perpetuating the false "Drunken Irish" stereotype.
there were never any pogroms or systematic oppression

How deep are your Irish roots? Mine go back as far as records exist in Ireland.
You are completely full of shite.

He believed they were actively undermining his country. He believed Germany had WW1 won until Jewish influence in German politics pulled them out. He believed the crippling debt placed on Germany was orchestrated by Jews. He believed Jews in Germany, Russia, Britain and the US were actually all in conspiracy to bankrupt and destroy Germany. He believed Red October in Russia, and all communism, was actually a holy war by Jews against Christians (indeed, many many of the Bolsheviks were in fact Jews and they did burn churches). He believed the German Civil War that occurred in 1918 was the same plot. He believed the drastic poverty and drastic moral decline that occurred under the Weimar Republic was directly intended by Jews.
He wasn't entirely wrong.

Anyone from Fox is more tolerable than Chris Wallace, save Juan Williams.
