Not if you're surrounded by people that want to exterminate you. I would want a significant buffer zone. A new country in Northern Cali/Southern Oregon would be great for the Jews and more importantly, great for us.

It doesn’t matter if Arafat was the one who rejected it. The one state solution is also not in the interest of Israelis. They would be out numbered in their own country and, unless voting rights were restricted to Jewish people, outvoted as well. I don’t know how this ends but it won’t be a one state solution

Two things...
Nobody in the mideast can destroy israel.
Nobody, including other muslims, gives a shite about the palestinians. They are the trash of that region and will not be missed.

While I think Israel is justified in all its actions, once it's all said and done they will have to keep a close eye on those Palestinians remaining.
At least they won't have to worry about rockets being made and shot at them. The solution would be for anyone wanting to remain, assimilate or go. I'm sure Israel will never allow the circumstance that arose in Gaza to happen again.

huh? They will be right back at the same position in 10-15 years. Those kids with destroyed homes and killed parents and siblings will grow up and become the next generation of warriors.
