We all know how much Cassidy is hated here.
Any SD people care to fill us in on John Thune’s popularity or lack there of?

From the outside looking in, it appears as if he's the product of yet another good-ol-boy system and, like most, is owned by the lobbyists (particularly big oil).
He is far more arrogant and brazen than most though, and I feel like this unforced error in a spat with Presler could be his undoing. Scott commands legions of followers nationwide and has a far greater reach than Thune could ever dream of. He turned a purplish PA into a solid-Red State almost singlehandedly. Just imagine what he can do with an already-Red State, especially if he makes friends with some Tribal leadership. If he gets the Lakota in his court, Thune will resign within weeks.

I would think if Trump backs his primary hope then he would lose. I can’t imagine he is more liked than Trump .
