How can they reconcile the fact that any carnivore or omnivore will kill another animal much more brutally than if I shoot a deer through the heart?

A bear killing a fawn or a wolf killing a calf elk is, ok? How are you protecting the autonomy of animals if you cannot stop them from killing each other?
