I wish Ukraine had never gotten the aid

If there’s anything that’s unconstitutional in all of this, it’s foreign aid. Nowhere in the constitution does it say the federal government has a responsibility to take money from poor people in this country and give it to rich people in poor countries.

But, seems like a lot of kickbacks from our aid goes to bad actors in our own country...I agree that money should be tagged and vetted to the penny

I doubt any of that actually happens, but it doesn’t matter to me what Russia does. They have sovereignty as a nation, so do we. Ukraine should too, except that they're being conditioned to be dependent on us.

Most of the time security aid is spent on US defense contractors who in turn lobby/pimp legislators for more aid

Nope, that aid might kill a few more Russians, but the aid has nothing to do with whether Russia invades or not.

Strategic Defense in Depth as it relates to Ukraine would be the difference between the 1,500 k to go from the Western Border of Ukraine to Moscow vs the 700K to go from the Eastern Border of Ukraine to Moscow.
Ukraine was the breadbasket and industrial heart of the Soviet Union, also contains oil and gas and coal.
Russia has Black Sea ports outside of Ukraine, but the best ports are in Crimea (which they took back) and the Ukrainian ports of Mikolayev and Odessa.

Well if it was U.S "aid" they need to protect themselves from Russia? Why didn't the invade when Comrad Trump held up the aid after the July 25th call?
I don't believe Trump should be impeached or having to go through this shite, but I also don't believe Russia is sitting and waiting to run in a take over the Ukraine.
