I could be wrong, however I don’t see this matching the summer of 2020. I think we forget that the Covid lockdowns fed anger into the protests of the the Floyd/ Brionna Taylor deaths.

Besides all that, perhaps the left could do something more useful, maybe move more center and find an electable candidate?
