ICE is also detaining immigrants (and citizens) without criminal records (someone coming to the US for a better life and living and working here isn’t a crime worth enforcing in my book). That is what people are protesting about. Saying they are protesting locking up pedos is disingenuous and inflammatory. If you have evidence that every arrest has been of a pedo, please provide.
It is what it is. They are impeding officers while on operations to arrest and deportation of pedos.

Just because a law exists doesn’t mean it’s right. Do you agree with every law? I understand certain methods of immigration are illegal. But I fundamentally don’t really care if someone came here “illegally” seeking a better life, and has been contributing to society for years.
Are you claiming that anti-ice activists knew that this immigrant was a criminal when they alerted him of ICE’s presence?
That seems highly unlikely. It’s much more likely they were universally alerting others of ICE’s presence (because of documented instances of ICE arresting people who have done nothing but try to live here, sometimes following the process to do so) and this guy so happened to be a criminal and was able to escape (I would want deported).

Exactly. They don’t know who or what they’re defending. They just do it because they’re anarchists and don’t want to follow laws that go against their agenda.
I provide you proof, and like the predictable lefty that you are, you don’t concede you’re wrong but just move the goal posts. This is why the average American hates you, because you’re dishonest and not arguing in good faith.
Laws exist for a reason. Do you want chaos? Anarchy? We have elections and they have consequences. Your side lost and instead of taking the L like one should in a civilized society, you riot, scream and terrorize like petulant spoiled children.
If you disagree with a law, vote for someone to change it. Otherwise you’re going against this Republic, our Democratic values and this fragile experiment we call America.

I asked for proof that every immigrant is a pedophile, because I am claiming that people are protesting the arrests of non-criminals and citizens.
Your link contained one example of a criminal immigrant. That isn’t proof of what I asked for or dishonest. And I even agreed that he should be deported.
I will continue voting and I will continue voicing my disagreement about laws I don’t agree with, whether the person I voted for wins or loses. I would hope you would to given how spectacular it is that we live in a country that grants us those rights, no matter whose in power.

So you’re willing to metaphorically die on the hill of preventing the “good ones” from getting deported at the expense of letting the bad ones get away?

I’m willing to die on the hill of not wanting US citizens’ rights violated and being shot in order to meet government deportation quotas.

Remain chronically online and don’t actually do anything.

Then get out there comrade. Your fellow agitators need you.
