How Obama helped kill off African elephants and lions

I recently watched a Joe Rogan podcast with Cameron Hanes on trophy hunting.
Hanes explains how under the Obama trophy ban, hunters could not bring back mounts and animal parts into the US. Because of this no more hunters wanted to pay the fee if they couldn't bring back the animal. The largest hunting reserve in Tanzania (i think) of 40 years had to close due to loss of income. They could not lease the land anymore or pay to protect the animals. Poachers then moved in on the land and massacred the remaining herds.
He went on to explain only 400 elephants are killed across all of Africa each year legally by paying hunters. Then something like 10-20,000 are poached each year.

Obama literally fricked up everything he touched as POTUS. For one simple reason.
Typical progressive who made every decision based on feelings rather than facts. So if something sounded bad, it had to go, no matter what the facts are.

A lot of that meat used to be given to the local people for free because the hunters mainly wanted the mounts.
