Let's just pretend for a moment that Trump is under investigation (He's not), what constitutional process would prevent him from appointing a SC justice?

Also, if it were that easy to block presidents from appointing SC justices then all the opposing party would have to do is put the President under investigation.

They don't even understand the ramifications of their dumbarse ideas.
