Only question I have is will there be a selection process for who is able to get a voucher or will everyone get it that applies? If not everyone who gets prioritized?
Below is from an article. Looks like a certain group will be prioritized.
The bill includes a formula to prioritize entry to the program if there are more applicants than funds available. Forty percent of open spots would go to students who receive free or reduced lunch; 30% to families who earn between 185% and 500% of the federal poverty line; 20% to those with disabilities; and 10% to those who attended public, private or home-school in the last school year.

The credit should only be homeowners because of property tax but that would be rAcIsT and privilege. You should be rewarded for being a good citizen & property owner, but we prioritize rewarding those who aren’t, in the name of equity & equality.
This is why I don’t ever see this working. I’d absolutely move my kids out of public school though if it were an option.

Crazy that people who aren’t homeowners would be even considered since this is being presented as a way to control where your own property tax money goes.
Whats 500% of the poverty line? $100K?
As I said in another thread about this topic. This is yet another form of welfare.
