Gavin Newsom has been forced to revoke 17,000 commercial driver's licenses given to illegal migrants after being called out by Donald Trump's transportation secretary.

The California governor made the crucial change amid mounting pressure from Sean Duffy after multiple incidents allegedly involving illegal aliens, including an October crash where three people died in a horrific highway collision.

'After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed,' Duffy said.

California has informed licensees that their documents will no longer be valid in 60 days, with Duffy adding that there's more to come.

'This is just the tip of the iceberg,' Duffy said. 'My team will continue to force California to prove they have removed every illegal immigrant from behind the wheel of semi trucks and school buses.'
