I live in NE DC right now, and it's kinda funny that we are spending an unholy amount of resources right now.
They knew a protest was on the 6th, so they should have been there from the 5th-7th, and then went home.
Most of the residents are dyed-in-blue Democrats with money, so it's not like the locals are going to be storming the gates...

So this rally, which was known weeks in advance, was used as cover by a few dozen, maybe 100 thugs from antifa, blm and possibly just rowdy anarchist types, to breach the capitol bldg and cause a ruckus.
