There will be a reckoning if that happens. I'm not one of those who has much faith in Americans doing much of anything, but if that man is arrested by a sham DOJ because of evidence presented in a kangaroo committee, there will be serious violence, as there should be. We are long past giving our rulers the Ceaucescu treatment.

CNN just had a segment on the Patriot Front dudes. It was a good teaching point for me with my liberal parents. The light started to go on for my mom: "they keep running the same loop as if there are hundreds of them."

I'm pretty convinced this website is likely monitored by you know, those guys, for seditious thought. But a political party wanting to make an example of or destroy the former president of the other party does not bode well for the long term survival of the union. It's as though they think the ends justify the means and we are in power and "take this" or else. Ok, alright, alright.

The biggest difference in our regime and say Russia or China is that we're not Orwellian, we're more of a Huxley-type dystopia. You don't need a hardline authoritarian regime when your population is neutered with welfare and propaganda. The Feds want everything to return to normal (pre-2016). Arresting Trump threatens that. They will talk about it 24/7 in hopes he doesn't run again, but violence is the easiest way for their power trip and money train to end.
