FIFA vs. the DNC

Two pricks enter…
So now the Democrats, specifically Chuckie Schumer and N.J. Gov. Sherrill. are screaming that they never agreed to cover the transportation costs for the World Cup 2026, of which opening round matches and the World Cup finale will be staged at the Meadowlands.
I’m absolutely no fan of FIFA, as the greasing of palms is a long, long SOP. They have the receipts and there is absolutely no way they would have given the World Cup to North America, let alone the Meadowlands without that being a prominence of the bid.
Honestly, it’s a horrible look for the host country and I don’t see Mexico City, Toronto, or Kansas City making a scene about it, just liberal East Coast Democrats who have zero shame or ability for self-reflection. The deal was struck in 2018 for God’s sake, it’s impossible for them to honor their word just once.

We inherited an agreement where FIFA IS PROVIDING ZERO FOR TRANSPORTATION TO THE WORLD CUP.
AND WHILE NEW JERSEY TRANSIT IS STUCK WITH A $48 BILLION BILL TO SAFELY GET FANS TO AND FROM GAMES FIFA IS MAKING 11 BILLION.
I’M NOT GOING TO STICK NEW JERSEY COMMUTERS WITH THAT TAB FOR YEARS TO COME.
FIFA SHOULD PAY FOR THE RIDES, BUT IF THEY DON’T, I’M NOT GOING TO LET NEW JERSEY GET TAKEN FOR ONE.
Sorry for the screaming as I was talking into my phone.
Everything she just said is complete utter bullshite. She even admits that back in 2018 when it was New Jersey and a Democratic governor and Chuck Schumer all endorsed a run for the World Cup.

To clear security checkpoints at the station, the fans will have to hold train tickets specifically produced for the World Cup that will assign riders a particular hour to arrive at Penn Station.

I was going to say Mitch Kramer did well for himself after graduating Robert E. Lee and post transitioning.
BTW, the kid who played Mitch Kramer is now 49 y.o.

Surely this line in particular is bullshite. Is the entire U.S. fencing industry worth $48 billion?
