Any one that wants the FCC to treat the internet as a utility is a fool. They obviously do not remember $1 per minute long distance, three broadcast TV channels and censor boards.

IT'S frickING INSANE.

These people are running to their worst enemy to save them from the ISP bogeyman.

I guess people quickly forget the cost of the fake security they desire.

If you fear throttling you should be for less government barriers of entry to the ISP business not more. Tell your states to do away with restrictions on electric utilities that prevent them from being in the ISP business. Tell your city officials to stop granting franchise like licenses to cable providers. Tell however controls the utility right of ways in front of your house to allow more ISPs along the right of way.

It is a very BIG MISTAKE to allow the FCC to treat the internet as a utility. That authority goes far beyond throttling.

It's absolutely mindblowing that on this site you are one of the only ones to see this.

This.

Title 2 should be this board's most hated executive regulation passed.

Bunch of fake libertarians here. They love the IDEA of less regulation, but when it comes down to letting the free market happen for REAL, they buckle.

This whole issue makes me sad for our future. People who would otherwise oppose government usurpation of power are now clamoring for it.
