I'd also point out that while there are plenty of AZ state statutes dealing with election fraud, there's several key FEDERAL statutes in play here as well, since as we all know, each of the 2020 Maricopa County ballots had FEDERAL RACES on them.
Anyone who inserts or knowingly counts counterfeit ballots, it doesn't even have to affect the OUTCOME of any of the races on the ballot for FEDERAL OFFICES.
Just knowingly counting counterfeit ballots and including them in the county certification is a **federal felony**.
52 U.S.C. § 20511: imposes criminal penalties for knowingly and willfully depriving or defrauding the residents of a state of a fair and impartially conducted election process in any election for federal office.
It is a federal crime for a person (including an election official) to knowingly and willfully:
Procure, cast, or tabulate ballots that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the state in which the election is held.
Violations are punishable by a fine in accordance with Title 18 of the U.S. Code, imprisonment for up to 5 years, or both.
[That's 5 years on **each count** the person is convicted of].
Additional federal statutes some people in AZ and their legal defense teams are about to become very familiar with:
18 U.S.C. § 241: Prohibits conspiracies to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in the free exercise of constitutional rights, including voting. This has been applied to ballot stuffing and falsifying ballots in past cases.
18 U.S.C. § 242: Criminalizes the deprivation of rights under color of law, which could apply to election officials who knowingly certify fraudulent ballots.
52 U.S.C. § 10307(c): Prohibits giving false information to vote or conspiring to encourage unlawful voting in federal elections, which could overlap with ballot fraud schemes.
Right now Katie, Kris and Adrian are running around threatening all the AZ county recorders and babbling inane bullshite about how federal subpoenas from grand juries are illegal and unenforceable.
Uh, yeah. Good luck with that shite, y'all.
