In Mrinank Sharma's viral resignation letter, the former Anthropic safety lead warned of AI-related perils along with a "whole series of interconnected crises." Meanwhile, Zoë Hitzig left OpenAI because of "deep reservations" about strategy as the startup explores incorporating ads. But Business Insider notes a common trait: "All of them seem to be worried that either epic gains or epic disasters lie ahead."
