Most of those accounts look like bot, troll, or shill accounts.

I suspect most of the engagement on his account is of the rage variety. Not dissimilar to the threads you start here.
If filling your mind 24/7 with rage is working out for you then that is great. You can still follow these accounts and algorithm tweaks will not affect you.
My guess, and I could be wrong, is that many who use social media are looking for a more positive, more informative, more productive experience.
If the algorithm gives more weight to positive content and real (as in not bots or spammers) content that could have a huge impact on society. How it was intended to work 10-15 years ago before everything was weaponized and monetized.
And if you don't like it I am sure all the other Musk haters at BlueSky will welcome you with open arms.

What's "positive" is extremely relative, there's nothing objective about it, I don't understand how some of you guys just continue to tow the Musk line no matter what.

Yes he is. Elon could make a video telling him he changed the Algorithm because of the negative replies he was getting because of the H-1B Visa issue and he would still not believe it
