Social Security is nothing but a direct wealth transfer from current workers to retirees. The last group we need to be burdening even more are the ones most exposed to costs that have far outpaced inflation (education, housing, and medical).

65+ crowd had cheap education, affordable housing markets for most of their careers, and are eligible for Medicare.

Cut the benefits if the income doesn't pay for it.
