-School is completely optional after 9 so kids that cause problems are just kicked out

You want uneducated ten year olds wandering the street cuz daddy's in jail and mommy is a drunk/druggie/prostitute (or whatever).

Send them to what we used to have - reform school. If needed, have dorms.

We could start with financial literacy. Only 2/3 of the states even require a course. Some states, like California and DC, don’t event mention financial literacy in their state standards, let alone offer a course requirement.

A mishmash of bullshite with a couple of good ideas.

I agree with mandatory physical training throughout school years congruent with age, physical maturity and ability.

I agree boys should not be forced to sit at a desk all day and keep still and quiet.

I agree that some subject matter is unnecessary and likely detrimental to classical education.

I agree trades, skilled labor and entrepreneurship and the appropriate education for them should be emphasized for many and especially for those more inclined to it.

I can see the benefit of gender-segregated schools but I’m not sold. I was only educated in mixed gender situations. My best friend graduated from all-male Riverside Military Academy in Georgia and he thinks it was beneficial for him. They regularly hooked up with the girls from nearby Brenau University, but didn’t have to go to school with them.

Not learning literature, biology, chemistry, physics and world history, school optional after age 9…all utter bullshite.

It's inevitable that teaching is going to migrate to the home, done by AI in a more free form, exploratory kind of way. A more natural education based on the child's interests to maintain excitement to learn. The AI will then model situations where other concepts like math and logic and empathy and everything else you want an adult to master come into play. Social interactions will be more controlled and timed.

It was in our best self interest as a new nation to control the destiny. Ben Franklin was acting in the best interest of European financiers wanting an American people indentured to their manufactured goods. Thomas Jefferson told Franklin and his European backers that America’s future will be American. Self sufficiency is the ultimate American virtue. Only bought and paid for traitors wanted a dumber, less capable American citizen.
