Voting out your aged, well positioned politician can be a tough decision. He/She brings a lot of pork back to your state because of seniority.
Power of incumbency also makes it harder to get rid of shits. Name recognition, "free" mailings, access to media, government paid staff. It is hard to get these fricks out of office.
Term limits would keep a fresh flow of energetic Americans without an option of it being a career.
Add, permanent work from district telework so constituents can keep an eye on these weasels.
