In making this a party disputation, ears will close. Too many have picked their team. The argument has to be directed to the bottomless corruption of the political class. Sadly, this has to become us versus them.

Every political issue has become binary, not just the memo. Even the most open minded of us seek confirmation bias at every turn. Won’t improve anytime soon because being correct has become more important that being effective.
