Is 2022 before Trump?
Certainly the Left is focusing on it now because it hurts Republicans, and they downplayed it before because it hurt Democrats. But the Right has done the opposite - downplaying it now, whereas they focused on it before. In fact, you are criticizing the Left for what you are doing in this thread.
Trump is going to take a beating in the coming recession. It’s something he has to go through, but I have high confidence that he’ll come out the other side in about 15 months smelling like a rose. In the mean time we don’t need to engage in the hypocrisy of calling out the Left for the same hypocrisy in which we engage.
