Most of Montana was settled by Scandinavians. They’re colder people.
Butte is all Irish though.
I lived around Bozeman and Paradise Valley. There were a lot of transplants, even back in early 90s. But the Montanans there were straight forward and decent people.
I can’t remember someone being nasty to me. Just awkward.
They can be mean to Californians though.

Many people depend on it for medicine they order online, they can't risk a missed delivery or a delay.
Plus in many locales that are not cities or dense suburbs so called last mile deliveries are still done by the Potal Service, even for Amazon and similar stuff.
