If as you claim the market was up because of the election results, how can you not blame the current drop on current events? And if that is indeed your point, you have to credit the news of Trump winning in Nov 2016 for Obama's highest market number, right?
Or are you only selectively consistent?

No this is still Trump’s market. Just like low unemployment numbers happened over Obama’s administration and Trump piggy backed off of it. They got bad during Bush’s administration.
