He came across as a pompous, arrogant, self centered know it all, who is so self consumed with himself he could care less about who he is serving.

Worst mayor in the history of our country.

He acted more moderate than usual. Doesn't come across like that on the debate stage.

If Barack Hussein ran on the principles and beliefs he expressed in his first campaign, he would be polling single digits. Let that sink in. The most leftist, radical president to ever be elected would be right of this group.

We all know BHO lied (ahem.. evolved) about what he believed in the first campaign. The trouble with this group... if you are moderate enough to get elected... you will not stand a chance in the primaries.

So a classic damn if you do / damn if you don’t scenario arises. You have to win the primary to make it to the show. But what you said to get there will be repeated a million times in the general.

He was more likeable than I expected.

What an arrogant contrarian prick he was. "de Blasio's my name; dodgeball is my game".

The scary thing is that DeBlasio (like Pelosi) was all the way at the left of the party, just not that long ago, just 5 or 6 years (or less). Now? Essentially a Communist, he is more or less mid-range, from a left/right standpoint of the current crop of Dem candidates.

If there was ever a time for a space shuttle to fall through a building it was last night in that studio.

On the debate stage, he's pandering to voters. On Hannity, he's talking down to the uneducated, unfashionable little people (Republicans).

Levin would have been my choice

Deblasio is not dumb enough to get face to face with Levin, Rush, Tucker, Bongino, Mark Steyn, etc.

I've always contended the best political discussion/debates would be round table debates. I would exclude most plastic politicians and instead include the most intelligent defenders of conservatism vs their leftists counterparts.......prime time must see TV.

My takeaways:

(1) Hannity went off the rails on the “coal and gas and oil” stuff.

(2) De Blasio is a despicable POS who wouldn’t even vocalize opposition to extremely late term abortions (the examples Hannity used were 8 and 9 months).

This. Hannity didn't do well. Not being in his element - He did go off the rails - "KFC Fridays", "I work out"...

Anytime you let someone like de Blasio dictate the conversation, you will lose. It was like trying to walk a cat last night.

Hannity got some good punches in, however. Him getting Lurch to admit people shouldn't own guns was an example.

If deBlasio sold cars, he'd never give you a price. He'd ask for a blank check and say "Trust me".
