Chuck Ross at DailyCaller (who first broke the Halper story) wrote an article just published tonight. Interesting:

LINK

quote:

Page noted that in their first conversation at Cambridge, Halper said he was longtime friends with then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort. A person close to Manafort told TheDCNF that Manafort has not seen Halper since the Gerald Ford administration.

Halper telling lies trying to get close to Page. I can picture it now:

Page: "Hey, you know Manafort?

Halper: "Yeah, man, I've been tight with that dude since forever. We BFF's."

Page: "Can I tell you a secret? Me and Manafort are colluding with the Ruskies to steal the election. Just between you and me."

Halper: "Of course, I won't say a word."

Continuing:

quote:

Turk, Halper’s assistant, also brought up the topic of the emails during a one-on-one interaction with Papadopoulos. She later attempted to meet with Papadopoulos in Chicago, where he lives.

Turk trying to get some "pillow talk" with Papa. (I wonder if this chick is bangable?).

It continues:

quote:

Halper has longstanding ties to the CIA and MI6, the British intelligence service. Halper’s father-in-law was CIA legend Ray Cline, and he is currently a partner at the Cambridge Security Initiative with Sir Richard Dearlove, the former MI6 chief.

Dearlove reportedly met with Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier, in September 2016 to discuss how to investigate possible ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

Dearlove is besties with Halper. This same Dearlove met with Steele about the dossier, which means there is NO DOUBT Halper was acting because of the allegations in the dossier. THAT was the impetus for this whole thing. Mark it down, it's gonna come out.
