Another no value comment

I fully admit I dont know size or duration of impact. Will you admit you don't either? Or if you do enlighten us

One poster commented pre containment fallout was size of Hiroshima every few hours. That comment was valuable

Apparently you think that there would be no more radiation than in the luminous dial of a watch. So there is that.

Based on what comment did you get there?

Yeah, not a good idea.. While the fuel rods onsite have been in decay for a couple decades now ,its still there.. Globally is wouldn't adversely effect much.. But the dead zone probably gets larger.. Biggest issue would be radioactive dust spreading around...

You serious Clark?

Fallout would affect Europe and Asia, if not other continents to some degree. Read up on the disaster.

Hopefully a troll.

Well Nuclear fuel rods and nuclear bombs while the same are actually pretty different.. That said that radioactive material released after the Chernobyl meltdown was 400 times greater than Hiroshima.. Pretty sure radioactive material was spread pretty far if I recall..

When the meltdown happened the other towers fuel rods were sent to the ground.. So with that said .. It still wouldn't been an idea that should be entertained..

Fairly certain.. I watched a documentary on it years ago so I'm not 100% certain..

Also there is a massive concrete and steel sarcophagus built over the site to contain the radioactive material..

The first clue that alerted the world outside of Russia that something was wrong somewhere was radiation detectors going off st nuclear plants in France, and other countries in Europe. It took a while before Russia admitted they had a huge problem.
