The LUCAS (Low-cost Unmanned Combat Attack System) one-way attack drones used by Task Force Scorpion Strike in Operation Epic Fury are produced by SpektreWorks, an Arizona-based defense company.
They're a reverse-engineered version of Iran's Shahed-136, adapted for US low-cost, long-range kamikaze missions (around $35k each, 500+ mile range). First combat deployment today.
