Broward County Sherriff Scott Israel speaking at a mosque

Nothing wrong with speaking at a mosque as a sherriff speaking to the community but it was his comments about keeping kids safe (fail) and keeping kids out of jail then bringing them to jail as his goal. (Failure to put Cruz in jail after 39 times being informed about him). I don't care who you are if you commit a crime or threat you should be put in jail.

The more air time this guy gets the worse he and his department look.

Yep. At this point he ought to shut up and stay away from microphones and cameras. He said he was busy "sherriffing". Not sure speaking at a mosque is a great idea when he seems unable to answer basic questions about the shooting. Seems like he ought to be investigating and reading stuff right now.
