So they are saying that now security guards cannot stop the very thing they are hired to stop?
I don't know about where you live but out here security guards are to write down license plates and that's about it. They're pointless. They walk around whatever property they're keeping safe

What a shitty shitty state that gets worse every year. I can honestly say I would pick almost any other state to live in besides California. Has the sunshine and earthquakes fried their thought process.

This seems like common-sense legislation. You're talking about activities which should be addressed by law enforcement personnel, not store clerks.
You are fricking retarded but you trying to make us believe you're full retard? This 100 percent incentivizes crime, believing anything else is just the epitome of fricking ignorance.

I have a friend who used to work at a 7-11 that had a lot of theft but no security. The employees were told by the manager to confront shoplifters and that put her in several dangerous positions
bullshite. Prove it or gtfo with your fricking lies. You're just as fricking ignorant as tarzana

I worked retail for years when I was younger. I don't remember a single company I worked for, nor those any I knew worked for, that ever "forced" their employees to attempt to foil robberies.
Because it never happened. That dumb fricking dummy
is a liar.

When the retailers close up shop, will the California Senate pass a bill enabling robbers to gift themselves to home deliveries.

I'm telling you the truth, brother. These corporations, especially franchises, tell the employees to confront shoplifters.
The friend I was talking about had a guy pull a knife on her when she confronted him for stealing.
It's true man. Search my posts and see if I seem like a woke democrat who would post shite like this if it were not true.
I told my friend to NOT under any circumstance confront shop lifters or even acknowledge their theft as the manager instructed her and co workers to do (i.e. log the items down for insurance purposes) because she's only being paid minimum wage. If she gets stabbed, the company will not pay her medical bills. The medical insurance they provide is complete shite as well.
I'm not lying to you, brother
