You mean, sort of like, climate change is extorted upon us like the COVID has been extorted upon us. I don’t believe it.

The only way to combat the supposed imminent effects of Climate Change is to arm the world with cheap reliable energy to modify their habitats. Undoubtedly some of the warming process is not related to humans. So this seems to be the only reasonable solution. Not to mention the notion that the earth is somehow at peak habitability for humans; it would be presumptuous to assume that to be true, imo. There can be arguments made that warming would be beneficial.

I can’t remember the scientist’s name but I heard Rush talking about this scientist’s research into “Global Warming” on his radio show 15-20 years ago. This scientist had done CO2 calculations on forest fires and prairie/range fires that burned across America before man was able to effectively combat these huge fires pre 1900. This scientist estimated that one huge forest fire left to burn itself out would put out more CO2 gases than all of the anthropogenic activities we would currently cause in one year.
These fires happened on a regular basis. Now imagine multiple forest fires and range fires across the globe annually before man had the ability to put them out. My recollection from this scientist is not an apples to apples comparison to man burning fossil fuels, it’s illustrate there may not be a tremendously huge difference in CO2 levels today than at other times in history. I’m also not sure Dr Kerry knows what the frick he’s talking about either.

Not to mention the billions of the earth's population that sole source of energy is still burning bioenergy, like wood, for cooking and heating needs. Bioenergy consists of 9% of total energy demand and emits 50% more CO2 than natural gas.

Some weather terminology has changed.
A hundred years ago we did not have 'hurricanes'. We called them 'big storms.'

Fifty years ago was said 'The temp is 88'. Today we say 'The feels like is 98.'

Ten years ago we counted the number of hurricanes this year. Today we count the number of named storms this year (much bigger number).

The biggest improvement in the climate over the last 20 years has been solving the ozone crisis. We almost saw humanity destroyed. But govt was wise enough to ban Arid Extra Dry deodorant spray and we were saved just in the nick of time.
