Politicans did that and you aren't going to get it back stateside by boycotting China.
There has to be incentives for manufacturers to open back up and start producing. Plus what are businesses going to do during the time between boycotting and getting American made product.
It didn't leave overnight and isn't going to come back overnight.

Say what you want but China is going to be drinking our milkshake very soon and for the next 500 years because our country is run by a combination of incompetent bureaucrats and venal elites who wouldn’t piss on the Constitution if it was on fire.
