An ignorant person claiming others are ignorant about climate change

This is an op-ed from a Tulane law professor, making his case that the government is ignoring climate change, and that will get us very wet, very soon.
So his implied argument is that any human action can prevent climate change, which is false.
We can prevent further loss of land in south Louisiana, which seems to be his primary bitch with climate change. He won't like the cure, which is to tear down the levees and let the river build up sediment layers by occasional flooding, as it did for thousands of years before the levees were built. So we'll get "very wet, very soon" regardless.
If he's a lefty his cure involves crippling U.S. industry combined with massive payments to foreign governments, which will magically keep everybody dry.
