The Baptists voted for Bush and Reagan. They didn't vote for Clinton or Obama, and that brand of Bush era-neoconism is now firmly in the establishment they didn't vote for. But it's their fault.

I like most of your posts but your wrong on a couple things… “baptists” is a very limited term referring only to the Baptist denomination… a better term would have been the evangelical right. Secondly, many actually did vote for Obama the first time. Look it up

I was mocking his point of view. I'm not a millennial dispensationalist, scapegoating them is absurd. Our foreign policy would've happened no different if they weren't allowed to vote.

The problem arises when people start trying to manipulate world events and treatys and shite like that based on their Eschatology.

Israel is the new name of Jacob. Israelites are quite simply, descendants of Jacob, which includes David, Solomon, Isaiah and our Christ Jesus through his earthly father Joseph. The modern day "Israelis" are descended from Esau, they are literally not Israelites.

You are probably right that the modern day “Jews” do not descend from Jacob but even if they did according to Paul that still wouldn’t make them Jews. A true Jew is someone who is circumcised in spirit, not the flesh. Aka a genuine born again believer. That old covenant terminology does not apply anymore after the cross. A man cannot be a Jew now, in Gods eyes, unless he is circumcised of heart by the Holy Spirit. Actually, there is no Jew nor Greek now. Only in Christ or not. Those in Christ are the true “Prince(s) with God” (which is what “Israel” means in Hebrew)
